I had it set to 75% and had organic weapons.
But the still think that the biggest problem is that you can not land all of your fleeted transports on the planet at one time.

But if you run a group of fighters into a minefield they don't Last long.
I run into a minefield of four mines, a "friend" put it there, and I lost all 21...

What's the point of troops. I tried to invade a home world with around 200 Med troops and got completely destroyed.
Even if you have say three big transports you can only land one at a time during...

I have found that the game map is too small for three large empires to extist.
Also the chances of meeting someone in a med/ high game is too high.
Any thoughts??

I beleive that the only things that effect the relationship to another empire when you first meet are your start col type and maybe your attitude, eg aggressive/ violent etc. compared to there types.

I don't think that they do ignore shields, not unless the new patch changed that.
I have run a heavily shielded ship into a mine field and it used to survive OK. Maybe this has been changed???

Like the idea of a building capable of jamming.
How about one that scans for cloaking ships and one for scans to see inside enemy ships as well fopr the netire system.
Put it into INTEL buildings,...

They most difinately help in a multi-player sim game. You can see what they have before you move your fleet to either run, sorry i mean a tactical withdrawal, or go for the kill.

If you don't have that field of tech to build them then your race does not understand the tech and can not use it.
It is the same for transferring tech, you can use what you don't have.

We should see if it is possible to get a building that increases the production of units as well.
Such as a fighter factory (fighters), or boots camp (troops)!

I have found that if you have enough shielding, say over 1800 points worth, then even the largest mine field will be destryoed against it.
What I have seen is that the mines attack one at a time, so...
