Did you set the computer players with a bonus? If you finding th egame to easy raise difficulty as well as AI player bonus and see what happans.

Happiness is determine by what type of race you are. IE if your race is bloodthristy then they want fighting etc. To make planets happy you need to remove the troops! Nothing reminds populations that...

Not a certain score but when a player's points exceeds the other AI players points by a certain amount. And this option can be shutoff. FYI MM is fixing this as we speak.

Don't set higher 2000 is absoult max I think for the game. Anyhting higher should corrupt it, why you need more than 2000 anyway?

I'm not sure but can't you in WIn 95 and higher set up multiconfigs so thqt when you play the game it will load up under the lower res?

NO that a rotten idea. In a game where we can terraform planets it makes no sense to need ground troops to take a planet over. Besides what if a oxygen breather takes over a methane planet? IMHO

Drones here will be bigger than a missle but smaller than ship. As I understand it it will be an AI driven thing. Very complex to code right.

Wait for the patch currently there is some funky stuff happening when you use that option. But it is a great option! You wait a day or 2 for your next turn rather than a week if playing...

SAtilites are the same there is a Satilite component that you use to launch them Otherwise same as minelaying.
