I'm as newbie as anyone can be. The first race I tried were Ermor playing on the default theme whatever that is. I was producing Undeads like crazy and I stomped everyone in sight until I met Jotunheim. Jotuns troops ripped my large undead armies apart with very few men. I felt like Saddam trying to defend against USA in the Gulf wars.
Needless to say I lost that game as troops were needed from every part of my empire and all my other neighbours just crashed in on the party slaughtering my armies everywhere.
