There are almost 300 shipsets available in the PBW file library. True a bunch of those are duplicates, and a bunch are if not outright duplicates at least very derivative, and a bunch are from various Sci-fi universes so may not be very original, and quite frankly a bunch are probably just crap.
But after all that there are quite a few good quality original races to choose from. You wouldn't even have to make your own.
