Latest patch crashing

After installing the latest patch, I get a repeated "Can't create combat.temp file" or something like that -- and the game hangs. Anyone else experience this? What's the fix?

I had similar problems with the previous patch. Probably some files or paths that are a bit messed up. Try a clean install (CD + 1.91) without any mods or customized files, and hopefully things should work just fine.
