Just a goofy thought, but should Ghouls and perhaps Zombies feast on available corpses? (and, if deprived of their preferred food, perhaps the living?)

I wouldn't FORCE em to eat, but perhaps by doing so it could recover HP on 'never heals' units?

Yes, and by eating dead corpses or living population you would have Blood Slaves added to your pool...makes sense...no?

Ehrm..No
By eating the people your zombies and ghouls are eating your potential blood slaves. If anything blood slaves should "taste better" than ordinary people, and hence make them harder to find cause many of them have been eaten already.

Plus I believe blood slaves are suppose to be virgins.

Well if it was me eating people i would save the tasty virgins as a special treat and put them in my Blood Pool for safekeeping...then i could eat them later if i wanted something special or use them in a Blood Magic spell

. Makes sense, no?
