				 Charge of the infuriated virgins
Beware of the wrath of the mighty virgins!!!
I had a spell caster of mine, loaded with slaves (30 or so) attacked in a combat. He found himself killed, to his dismay. And all the sudden, the virgins attacked frantically the enemy, sending it in total rout!

Well I dunno if it is a feature, but thats rather strange. i'm left with virgin-soldiers now, what should I do of them?

I would rises some points of that:

1- perhaps the slaves instanciated into battle units should revert to gem-slaves at the end of a battle, and given to commanders, either at random or the one with the highest blood rating? Its a bit detrimental to have all these slaves converted to units. Also, I dont find the mechanism that elegant. Blood slaves, which are supposed to be a magical resource, can be transformed into a useless combat unit under some circumstance.

2 - Perhaps the slaves of a killed commanders should stay in place, if they are supposed to be mindless girls waiting to be butchered? While would they charge? Or perhaps if they charge it means they have again their freewill? So it would make senses that they flee (they disapears as soon as the mage is killed), or they turn against their former oppressor (let them attack your units!, as independants figures, like lammashtas for example).

Re: Charge of the infuriated virgins
I think this can be explained : the virgins had been converted to the mage Blood faith during their slavery.
So when the mage got killed they used a *censored* attack on the enemy, who gets Fatigue 100+ in the process, and routed from exhaustion !
OTOH the former virgins weren't it anymore, so were lost as blood slaves, and turned to units...

Well, your own experience should tell you they're not THAT useless as fighting units.Quote:

In my testing, they're mindless and just exploded like undeads or vinemen. What did you do? |

Re: Charge of the infuriated virgins
I had a blood slave convoy unexpectedly attacked recently, and yeah they chipped in and one kicked someone's behind. Mainly because that enemy was distracted by a Vine Ogre...
She didn't turn into a unit though. I think maybe they have to get damaged before they turn into units? I didn't lose my commander, though.

A more probable explanation is that girls left without a chaparone for a month in a foreign land may have a good chance of er, enlisting. Or something. I dunno. It'd be nice to know the rules and the reasons for them.

Useless? ...unless they came from Jotunheim. Fear the wraith of Jotun virgins!Quote:
