How to mod AI to attack weak player?
If I understand Mega Evil Empire correctly, the calculation isn't made until the candidate empire's score exceeds 500,000 points. Then, if they are human and their score is more than 70% over the score of the #2 player, all empires in the galaxy declare them Mega Evil, break their treaties with this player and declare war. For the AI, their score has to be 150% over the score of the #2 player. Does this sound correct?
I like MEE. I think it is a good feature. But what I want is a player specific MEE calculation on the other end of the scale. I want the aggressive players to IMMEDIATELY attack any races whose score is less than theirs by a certain threshold. I don't just want the aggressive AI to get a little more angrier than a pacificistic empire. No, I want them the realize that the other player is easy pickings and try to wipe them out early. I haven't found a way to do this by modifying the data files. Does anyone think this can be done? Does anyone else think this would be a good enough idea to suggest to Malfador? All comments welcome.
