The only pivotal thing I see missing from manual..
...is a single page listing all shortcut keys. While you've got shortcuts listed all over the rest of the manual in the pertinent sections, there's no one page that compiles them. Perhaps we could just make it a download from here. Overall, though, fantastic job. You have every reason to be proud of this manual. One of the best I've ever read. Possibly THE best. |

Sounds like a good PDF for the Downloads section to me. |

Good point. Since you can just get all the hotkeys by pressing ?, I figured a hotkey summary would be redundant. I remember having second thoughts towards the end, but I didn't change my mind fast enough. Putting it up as a PDF download is a good idea.
I'm glad you like the rest of the manual.

I'm glad to hear that's the only thing you can think of, because if there was one thing I had to leave out, it would be that. Charts and rules and hordes of spells can be hard to memorize, requiring constant referral, but eventually we'll memorize the hotkeys and not need the PDF any more!

Great job on the manual, Bruce. It was all I hoped it would be. I like how you gave all the formulas and explained the mechanics. One question, though. Gem costs for magic items are listed for magic levels above 6, but I did not see any magic items requiring a skill level higher than 6 to cast. Why is that? |

Once this is compiled if you get it too me, I'll but it on the official downloads page.

A bit more fluff would be nice for the dom 4 manual ;-)
In all other aspects, it's really good

Re: The only pivotal thing I see missing from manu
I have a one-page hotkey list in pdf format (including the hotkeys not listed using the ? command) available for download here . At some point perhaps Tim can put it on the downloads page. |
