Free fighter squadrons

Warp point defense, and my carrier was attacked by a single anti-proton destroyer. No contest.

But at the end of the combat, there were two squadrons of my fighters waiting to be reloaded. Much to my surprise, they didn't fit in my carrier!?

So I checked for damage -- 0%, didn't get hit once. So I double checked my cargo: It was completely full with fighters. I had somehow just acquired two new squadrons, for a total of 79 free fighters!

Now I'm building a second carrier to go scoop them up

Its a bug...I dont know if it got fixed...

Don't try to use the clone fighters, they have a tendancy to make the game crash. Just scrap them.

Too late; just engaged a destroyer with the new carrier stocked with freebies. BTW, there were so many fighters that they didn't even fit into a second carrier -- there were still four fighters left over.

The battle went fine, except that most of the fighters were out of gas by then, so only about a dozen actually got to fire.

I'm gonna name that carrier Clone Warriers, and if they crash in a future battle, I'll post an update.
