Default Startup Options - command line ?

Hi there, I'm playing several turn-based Multiplayer games with some friends and I'm looking for an easy way to use different mods with
the individual games. So, is there a way to start
SE4Gold with command line parameters such as 'use
path2.txt' or something like that ?

There are command line ooptions, (I don't know what they are) but a better solution for you would be Matryx's modpicker. there's a copy of it in the extras dir of your Gold CD. It allow you to point and click to select which mod you want to use on startup, and it also lists all your savegames. You can store all your passwords in it and select them from startup too, with the modpicker starting the game under the appropriate mod for that savegame.

You'll have to set up a savegame directory under each of your mod directories and store your games in those, and you should also know that games with no password will accept a single space as a password.

Trust me, once you've tried it, you'll never want to go without.

I also highly recomend the use of the modpicker, but if you are curious about the command line options they are explained in the History.txt file. Open that file and do a search for "command". They should be back around Version 1.41 or something.
