A racial techs game?

I know there are several outa there already, but how about starting a new game where you have to choose one, and only one, racial trait? lets say 2k. Preferrably no min-maxing. Low tech cost so the racial techs can actually be used. All other settings can be discussed. Anyone likes the idea? And will anyone actually play it?
