Question for Mephisto

In your opinion what would be a fair set up for playing against the AI based upon the current limitations.

I'm not looking for a way to make them more challenging such as suggested by the manual. I am just looking for suggestions on what would be the best setting to use so that the AI is not unfairly matched due to it's current limitations.

I welcome any and all suggestions from the board. I am directing this to Mephisto because he seems to have a firm grasp of the current state of SE4.
