OT - Any PS2 4x games out there?

I was just curious if there any 4x games out for the Playstation 2. I've only had mine for a few months, and don't have that many games for it yet. Heck, I think my son plays it more right now than I do, but I have a good excuse. I can't stop playing SEIV right now. But I was wondering if there was a PS2 equivalent. Anybody know?

I'm fairly sure that there isn't one. Too bad! There's something to be said for conquering the galaxy from the comfort of your own couch.

Too bad. I'd have thought MOO2 or something like that would have come out on the PS2. Maybe one of these days.

I don't think the Tv sets have the resolution to have little ships going around shooting little bLasts at other little ships.

I bet the population pictures for the races present on a planet are all but invisible on a Tv.

Although its not a sci-fi title, Romance of Three Kingdoms IX is a great strategy title. You are a Warlord who hires and trains armies, leaders, espionage, build forts, war parties, farm, trade, build relations, etc. AI is very strong (since there is no live opponent). Setting is early China (190AD, but don't let that deter you).

If you love the management options of SEIV you will foam at the mouth with the many options and details this game offers. EBay usually has a few available at $10 less than the norm, since the new release 9 just came out.
