Settings.txt Questions

There are so many settings. . .what are your specific questions and perhaps we can help. As for the characteristic settings, these modify how much each "modification" point costs and what the min/max are when you set-up a custom race upon starting a new game. Others, like the "min. pop. needed to operate facility", don't seem to be used by the game (yet).

Well I guess how the characteristic stuff and how they relate to the create race options when you add to the characteristics. When I pump to many points into ship attack I get a error when the game loads. Just wondering what values to add or subtract.

The different options in the settings text, what do they do? Some of them are self explanatory. Like the Pop. modifiers. What do the Characteristic settings do?
