Happened to my pretender rainbow mage's army as he was moving from place to place. Fortunately, he had orders to "retreat."
He wasn't travelling with a big force, either.
These knights shouldn't pose too much problem, but they had to attack my most magically significant province, cutting my gem income in half. It's not so bad, though. I have had worse happen with even scales. And the benefits of order 3 outweigh an occasional bad thing like this.
Also, one of the AIs got unlucky early on and has its fortress beseiged by independent trolls. LOL. I have a spy there whatching the battles. Vanheim's poor starving troops came out for a Last stand and lost. How humiliating for them.
