more help needed again plz

ok i finaly figured out why,when i add a custom component it wasnt showing up as a mini picture when i try to add it to my ships,even though i added the pic to the components folder i didnt know that the mini pic has to also in the components picture that goes in there,u know,the picture at the bottom with mini pictures of all the components,so my question is,since the picture is just a normal bmp file,how do i edit it to show my custom pictures,i notice that planets has one as well,no wonder my planets didnt show up in the game,yeah i know im dumb.lol.

It is easy to do.

1. Make a copy of your 128x128 component.
2. Resize it to 36x36
3. Open Paint and then open the Components.bmp file
4. Open a send pain window, and then open your 36x36 image
5. Copy and past to the CORRECT number slot on the Components.bmp. I strongly suggest that you use one that is open at the bottom but that might require some more work so use the one number 528. Paste and position your 36x36 image over that spot.
6. Rename your 128X128 image Comp_528

NOTE: According to my Version of the Component.bmp, slot 528 is currently untaken.

Save your work and it should now be visable in your components list.

Other wise just send me your image. I will do it for you.

i was only using components from the packs that u can download and i just noticed that they allready have a componets picture with all the extras added,yup silly me for not looking properly,thnx anyway though cos at least now i know how to add even more.

If you add more components, be sure to send them to Suicide Junkie for inclusion into the Image Mod.
