				 Conquerors of the Sea
I notice from the development notes that this Marignon theme seems to have survived. I hope it's been tweaked a bit. It lacks oomf in Dom2, although it has its charms.
Personally, I'd give ALL their commanders the sailing ability. Sailing scouts, spies and assassins would be very cool.

IIRC they had their magic tweaked.

In 2.79 CoS gets the old CoS leaders as well as the DF ones, that's a pretty original combo !Maybe it's a temporary unfinished situation, who knows ...

Fire/blood and astral/air, all at level 2 - that's very good indeed. Utterly superior to base Marignon, in any case.
I hope the developers don't take this three eras thing too far. CotS and DF are presumably alternate futures, should they really be mixed?

 | Propably not...it's a bit worrying. It's so...mishmash-ish.

				 Re: Conquerors of the Sea
I don't want any more Black Foresty themes - the poster child for mishmash nations.
Having said that, it might be fun to create 'unified' themes (all units from all eras) for special multiplayer games.

				 Re: Conquerors of the Sea
One things that is also worrying me is that the Late era which was labeled as an era of advanced units and low magic slowly seems more and more like era of Death...
 - Ashen Ermor
 - Cthonic Dead of Agarta - whatever it is it doesn't sound promising
 - Carrion Pangaea(?)
 - Black Forest Ulm (?)

Now, I could be horribly wrong but this is quite worrying, mostly because having a pile of nations with death dominion and pile of nations relying on units is guaranteed to cause hair-tearing fury...
