Changing windowed mode resolution?
So far i only have the demo since my copy didn't ship yet from Ixsoft, but i guess i can ask already.
Is it possible to change the resolution (or rather pixel count) of the windowed mode? If yes how?
I like to run my desktop on 1024 and a windowed mode with the same size isn't all that useful, so i'd like to change it to 800.

Re: Changing windowed mode resolution?
Running on Windows? Simply go to windowed mode and maximize the window. As I recall, it wouldn't do this when I first switched modes (Preferences, Video, unchecking Fullscreen) but when I quit and restarted it behaved as a standard Windows application window.

Then simply resize it smaller by dragging the edge/corner of the Dominions window - used to do that all the time when I was playing blitzes and only had one monitor, so I could see when someone said something in the IRC channel.

Re: Changing windowed mode resolution?
There are switches that can be used with the icon so that it changes the settings as the game is called up.

Re: Changing windowed mode resolution?
Video Options has (at least for windows) a long list of valid resolutions. Including some whacky ones. So if you want to run fullscrene at a small resolution, it should be fine.

Re: Changing windowed mode resolution?
Windowed mode in Windows version allows you to alt-tab more easily without getting video hiccups in the interface of Dom3.
This is useful if you are making notes, chatting on IRC (irc.gamesurge.net #dominions), etc.

Re: Changing windowed mode resolution?
You don't even have to alt-tab it...
