Re: Themes
Different themes for the same nation/age to choose from during pretender design?
Sadly, the answer is no. The whole interface for selecting themes has been removed and cannot re-activated via simple mod commands. Mod commands can only overwrite unit, equipment and spell stats, but cannot fiddle with the GUI.
What you can do, though, is to recreate the 'themed' nation as a mod and select that mod upon startup.

Re: Themes
Pitty, maby they'll patch it back in. You can't chose a mod before you start a multi-player game.

Me too. I loved Ceremonial Faith and Restless Worshipers. Maybe in Dom 4 they'll bring back a few generic dominion-tied themes like that and create some new ones. I will say that I like the way nation specific themes have been abolished, though. It's much more thematic to simply have multiple ages. It also allows them to create "unbalanced" ones, because they can control the feeling of balance in each Age seperately. For instance, I like how vanilla Mictlan is Early Age, because it makes their light troops just that much more relevant.

They won't, because some 'themes' have become full-fledged nations in the different ages. Other 'themes' have become global enchantments ...

O.c. you can!!
All players have to load it before pretender creation, and the host has to activate it before creating the game ...

Re: Themes
They may put the theme feature back, dosn't mean they have to put the old themes back. Heck they may put no themes in just give it as a new mod tool.
And yes you can but thats a lot of extra hastle, and it gives you're theme away before you start.

Re: Themes
You don't really need to mod the UI to mod in themed versions of the nations. There may be a few theme abilities that aren't available as mod commands right now, but there are also some national mod commands that were not available as themes in Dom 2.
