Possible to add existing races in \"New Game\"?

Hi, I am firing SEV up now that it seems sufficiently patched, and was just wondering:
is it possible to add an existing race when creating a new game, rather than have to define a new race each time?
I want to add one of the races that are offered in the Quickstart race selection.
