				 "Holy communion"?
When you cast a communion, I know that any caster only spells a master uses will affect all the slaves too. What about holy spells like retribution? I was thinking about adding that to my cast order, but it's hard to tell if it's working. Thanks.

I'm assuming he means holy avenger. Yes, it should apply, since it targets the caster. |

You should also be able to see the visual effect appear around all the slaves when the spell is cast. |

On the topic of holy communions, is it worthwhile to connect a bunch of slaves to a holy master for the purpose of super-boosted banishment?
This would be against undead hordes of course.

Not especially. I mean it's ok but with banishment usually many H2s or H3s are better than one H9. A good trick is a reverse communion with PoTS though, to raise all the holy levels. |

Though it might be worthwhile, especially early on, if you've got expensive holy mages and cheap non-holy slaves. 1 H6 or 1H3 & 8 S1 mages? |

				 Re: "Holy communion"?
If you're doing a reverse communion with an eye on banishment in mind, it's worthwhile to go ahead and use a couple communion masters to lead the effort. Slap a bit of penetration boost to the masters and if you can leverage wind guide/aim. This sort of investment makes a night and day difference if you're banishing stuff with higher MR like demons.

				 Re: "Holy communion"?
yeah, I'm trying it with Bandar Log via a Yogi prophet. For other nations it might not work so well or be worthwile but for this situation it really provides some nice tactical options: fanaticism, strong anti-thug smite or word of power, and the afore-mentioned mega-banish- which actually cuts a nice swath through the undead hordes. |
