Something unexpected happened to me. I kitted 2 tartarian cycops (the one with air) with an axe each. They were suposed to jump into provinces where were 2 iron angels.
So far so good. So they landed hits on the iron angels and as the axes say in the description angels gain lost an arm affliction but they didnt loose use of weapon or shield. And they didnt lose the other arm.
So either the angels have more than 2 arms or there is some bug.
I wonder if someone used these axes successfully.

Despite the flavor text, I think the axes only get a bonus when dual-wielded (not just on the same battlefield)? But if the angel did gain armloss, then I don't know why he wouldn't lose his shield.

I'm pretty sure that the arm loss applies for each axe individually.
As for the arms, must be a bug.

Yea, sometimes there is a bug were equipment move to other slots it the slot it was in disappears. Are you sure the iron angel did not were his shield on his head or something?

haha that sounds like some anime movie, some warrior loses both his hands grab the sword with his teeth, and kill half a dozen enemies like that.

That must be it. The angels didnt have a helm. (well they had the blacksteel one they are by default). And I found out the hard way the axes doesnt give double armloss.
