Fighter Movement

I don't know how many of you already know this but I just realized that fighter tactical movement is the average of the fighters in the group. I always thought that it was the minimum as is the case with ship fleets, but I was wrong.

I just checked and this isn't the case. A fighter group with 10 Speed 12 fighters and 10 speed 4 traveled at speed 4 (except the first turn, where it did 12)

A fleet of two Groups of 10 fighters- speed 4 and speed 12- also traveled at speed 4.

I had a group of 30, 15 speed-7 and 15 speed-5, and group speed was 6. Perhaps it needs an even split so it doesn't round off or somesuch. Try it again.

Also remember that I'm talking about tactical combat speed here, not strategic movement.
