Default Two newbie questions please

1. How does someone make money? My first terran base has no missions either trade, mercenary etc. It does list commodities, but I have no idea which ones to buy and make money with. Can we mine and make money?

2. How do we warp to the next system?

The bases don't have merc or trade missions but planets do. Just make sure you find an inhabited one. Its ussually faster to go pirate hunting and sell the wreckage afterwards, though. No mining.

To warp to the next system just find the Warp Point To (system name) and run into it. You'll be taken to the other side of that warp, in the next system.

About the commodities list: If it says "Sell" next to a system name, that's the price they're selling it at, and it's probably a good idea to buy there because the price is below the galactic average. If it says "Buy" then that's the price they're buying it at, and it's probably a good idea to sell there because the price is high. (Kind of confusing but you'll get used to it.) You can buy somewhere where it says "Buy" or sell at somewhere it says "Sell", but why bother? You'll probably get ripped off, especially since you can't sell something for as much as you bought it for.
