chu-ko-nu mod v1.4 comments please
Here is the new Version 1.4 of my chu-ko-nu mod for Tien Chi. Please download it (attachment), look at it and say what you think about it. I will further improve it or sent it direct to illwinter if no major problems occur.
Special thanks to Editr for his suggestions. If someone has a pic/scan/link of a big chinese fortress Chu-ko-nu please inform me.
Last time i continued the old forum thread but nobody noticed, so i do a new thread now. I hope this is okay with the board rules.
What's new in the mod:
Chu-ko-nu men shoot now "historical accurate" bolts smeared with weak poison. dam 4 and 5 poison damage.
A new commander, the ballista like "Heavy Chu-ko-nu Crew" is recrutable. It shoot 3 crossbow-like bolts every turn (dam 10, armorpiercing, no poison at all).

PS: suggestion for adding in the next modding manual:
"to test mods, it is necessary to quit dominions2 and start it again. It is not necessary however to create a new game each time".

Hey, this is actually a nice addition to T'ien Ch'i! May it find its way
into canon. The problem with mods, even minor and well thought out (as
this one is, in my opinion), is that people mistrust them until they have
some seal of approval.

Very nice imo .
Only thing i fear are high friendly fire casualities .
2 headslots + 2 miscslots for the heavy chu-ko-nu . Is this with purpose or a typo in the modfile ?

2 headslots and 2 miscslots for the heavy chu-ko-nu are intentional. My reasoning was:
i definitly do NOT want quickness with chu-ko-nu, it would made it a Über-Machine-Gun. So, no feet (boot of quickness), no body (jade armor) and no sacred status.
The crew has its hand full of labor operating the heavy chu-ko-nu, so no hand-slots either. that leave misc and head slot. and 2 of them because the crew has 2 people.
