Emergency Propulsion in Strategic Combat
If you use emergency propulsion before you attack someone, will you recieve the bonus move points as bonus combat move points as well? (simultaneous games PBW)

Re: Emergency Propulsion in Strategic Combat
Whoa, that's a very good question.
I never use emergancy propulsion. They take up space and the enemy will come to me anyway when he wants to kick my butt. But nevertheless it's a very good question.

Re: Emergency Propulsion in Strategic Combat
I tried that once in a test game, and was disappointed. The ships moved at their regular combat speed of 6 instead of 9.

Re: Emergency Propulsion in Strategic Combat
Emergency propulsion only increases your movement points remaining this turn.
It does not increase your "speed" as such.

For strategic movement in the system, in simultaneous movement mode, it _does_ increase the speed the ships move.

Re: Emergency Propulsion in Strategic Combat
Yes, that would be pretty sweet if Emergency Propulsion worked in combat. You could pull off the "Picard Manuever"
