Where could I get a program able to handle TGAs?
My computer doesn't have a program that is able to create, edit, and view TGA format files. I have the TGA viewer from Totalwar.com, but that only allows me to view TGA files without the ability to scroll. So, I was wondering:
Where could I get a program that is able to create, edit, and view TGA format files?

Get GIMP. It's really frustrating though if you're used to stuff like photoshop.

You can use IrfanView to convert TGAs to any format you like and then back. IrfanView is quite nice and totally free. |

I have both Gimp and IrfanView. I am using both. I haven't yet bothered to figure out why Dominions doesn't like Gimp-saved TGAs, so I "convert" my Gimp products with IrfanView. |

That's strange ... I'm using Gimp for DOM maps for years now, and I think the devs use it, too.
 Check that you

 a) save as RGB file, not indexed
 b) save as a "real" tga (option is something like "file type from extension" )
 c) use RLE (run length encoding) and "start in lower left corner" or something

.. and everything should be fine.
