Crystal Heart
Ok, heres the prob. My prophet is diseased. I don't want to lose him. I'm wondering if I can give him a crystal heart and have it heal him upon death.
But aside of that, what other options are there for curing disease or curses ?

Re: Crystal Heart
Curse: none
Disease: can be healed like any other affliction. I'm even not sure it's auto-healed upon death. And a Crystal Heart works only in combat o.c., doesn't it?

Re: Crystal Heart
with disease you could try gift of health, the chalice, or i think fairy queens and arco preistesses can heal troops

Re: Crystal Heart
Gift of health I could have tried (hes dead), Im mictlan so no priestess and no chalice within a 7 turn possibility.
Twiceborn has to be cast by the mage in question if I recall ? so that would be a no no as hes a fire mage.

Re: Crystal Heart
A Ring of Regeneration would have restored his hps in battle. So docked in Air Shield, wielding a good shield, with armor for protection, etc., and just scripted to wait, he would have regained hps.
On the other hand, he would have gotten many afflictions. I think someone once had a Diseased Mictlan Priest get an Infernal Contract early in the game, and had to keep him alive. He was posted into the "most battle afflictions" thread...

Re: Crystal Heart
What about the Ritual of Rebirth? As a prophet, he could well be inside the Hall of Fame, no?

Ring of regeneration would have kept him alive on the overland map.

Re: Crystal Heart
Ring of regen ? Alive on overland map ?
Hows that work.....I presumed it was only a combat effect. Again I assume he would have been hit by afflictions....but.....
