New PBW game: SPIN CYCLE
Consider a typical grid map.
Now, connect the top and bottom edges, as well as the left and right edges. You now have a type of Spherical map, in which there is no boundary, and you can keep travelling in one direction forever, eventually reaching your starting point from the opposite direction.
Now, consider what would happen if all the warppoints leading westward and northward were collapsed, leaving only one-way warppoints directed south and east.
Enemies to the northwest will be able to attack you at will, and you will not be able to counterattack. Any losses you sustain must instead be recovered by taking your southeastern neighbour's territory, and your empire will slowly rotate in a south-easternly direction.
Will you be able to keep up with the whirling merry-go-round of violence?
Can you handle the dizzying geometry of rotating territory?
Which race will come out of this cosmic spin cycle squeaky-clean, and which ones will be relegated to the dustbin of history?
SPIN CYCLE - Now open to join on PBW
Using Stock SE4, with stellar manipulation disabled.

Nice idea for the map!
Keep the map around - others might want to use it later (particularly with a mod; at least PvK Balance Mod).

Nifty, but how do you make one way warp points?

Simply by deleting one end of the warppoint in the map editor, while leaving the other end alone

Re: New PBW game: SPIN CYCLE
I once tried making a map that looked like snakes and ladders without the snakes, but the AI couldn't handle it.

Re: New PBW game: SPIN CYCLE
The 'closed universe' is a good idea. Making it all connect with ONE WAY warp points is not.

Re: New PBW game: SPIN CYCLE
I might join if I wasn't too busy with other stuff.
One interesting ramification of all the one-way warp points is that you will have no indication of where the warp points inbound to your territory come out until something comes through them, at which point it could be too late to even try blockading the sector.

Heh, so far "SJ scares me." is tied for the lead! (It's what I voted )

Re: New PBW game: SPIN CYCLE
You might want to disable stellar manipulation. Otherwise, the map features will be ended once WP openers and closers come about, which doesn't take all that long in stock.

Might want to read the last sentence there again, Fyron
