Missions in official relase
Okay, this might be a stupid question, but what are the criteria for mission (or campaign) to be used in official relase of the game?
I mean, for example there were some very well-made scenarios for old SPMBT that never made it to official relase, like "Bridges of Jonava" by Wulfir, or 2nd Para in falklands campaign by Gallo Rojo...

Re: Missions in official relase
Hi,
The best course of action would be to submit your scenario/campaign in this forum and then to ask the developers to include your work in the next WinSPMBT patch.
If the developers decide that your work meets some quality standards it will be included in the next patch.
Concerning the projects that you mentioned in your post I am positive that if their designers send a note to the developers then these scenarios/campaigns will be included in the next patch.
Just to clarify few things:
Any custom map, scenario or campaign is "somehow" the property of the designer who has created it, therefore the developers can't (not for legal reasons but for moral reasons) include any work without the prior acceptance or request from the designer.
cheers,
Pyros
p.s the above is just my opinion and doesn't necessarily reflect the developers' or publishers' policy.

Re: Missions in official relase
I played "2nd Para in Darwin" and it is included in winMBT.
Maybe you are talking about another version ?

Re: Missions in official relase
Maciej,
I believe he means the campaign: "2 PARA Falklands (1982)"
and I am not sure if he has yet been assigned an official campaign slot for this campaign.
Quote:
2 PARA Falklands (1982)
May-June 1982
United Kingdom vs Argentina
Format: Fixed Core Campaign
Turns: aprox. 35 each battle (but first battle is very short)
Length: 4 Battles
Player: United Kingdom
Command Size: Core units are 1 Para Coy; but battles are usually Battalion Size.
Description:
In this campaign you will lead the 2nd Parachute Battalion (2 PARA), during the Falkland’s War from the San Carlos’ landings to the final battles around Port Stanley.
Core Units representing only D Company (D/2 Para) have been picked for you, but the other three Battalion’s Companies and Support Weapons will appear in different battles as Auxiliary Units.
The campaign covers four battles: San Carlos’ Landings; two scenarios covering the Battle for Goose Green (first from dust to noon, and second noon to dawn); and Wireless Ridge.
VERY IMPORTANT: During this campaign use your re-build points only to fix your damaged units. Do not expand your Core Units!

cheers,
Pyros

So THAT'S why there is a Jonava map I probably am the only one that has actually been there Can't comment on accuracy as I don't have a real map, but there sure is no shoe factory there
