More oddities, new user of 1.01B, old 7.01er
Tiger tanks with infantry, July 1943. Core unit. Company command platoon, sergeant's tank changed to Brandenburger, now tank riders. Both units show suppression. Reduce suppression, mount infantry, Tiger's movement cut to "3"; move and unload the Brandenburgers who immediately come under fire from partisans. Reduce supression again and all of a sudden the Brandies have their full (6) movement available. My Tiger tanks are opening turns without suppression but with movement cut to 1,2 and 3 hexes. I've seen movement oddities with the motorcyclists (kraftrads) but never with tanks and regular infantry before.
I'm new to this version and am learning as I go. Questioning as well.
To note, all my formations are purchased as Hauptmann & Majors, seargeants (fldwbl) being the second unit and usually changed to either infantry riders or mobile aa units.

Re: More oddities, new user of 1.01B, old 7.01er
Loading onto tanks costs MP for the tanks now. However, the Brandenburgers should not be getting their full movement back after rallying. Save games that demonstrate the issue are always helpful. The MC issue has been noted and we'll look into that. However, with the MC I have yet to see MP regained with manual rally attempts. The three times I have seen MP regained with MC was when the unit pulled back itself after taking fire and suddenly it had it's full MP back. Is this what you have observed as well?

No. I have seen the MPs renewed when I manually rallied them. Happens quite often, in fact. Thanks for the tip re: tanks lose MPs when loading.
I do not know how to send y'all a saved game.

And unloading. too.
More for larger sections than small teams, too.
Cheers

Re: More oddities, new user of 1.01B, old 7.01er
Yes. I have now seen (but only once) kraftrad gain MPs after pulling back (actually retreating with loss) which allowed it to withdraw from the general danger zone. I regularly have them pick-up MPs when manually rallying. Perhaps it is unique to the German force?
Only once have I noted the Brandies to pick up MPs.
Unfortunately my SPWW2 gaming computer (laptop) is unconnected to the internet and I do n ot have any way to send you a saved game for perusal.
