Some Information on Priests is Incorrect.
Either in the manual or in the game, the info on priests is incorrect. In the manual, it states that priests have a 30%/level chance of increasing dominion by preaching (which is more than DomII, but I figured this was because they are lower level). It also says in the manual that Inquisitors get a base of 40%/level of increasing dominion in a hostile territory. In the game, however, the Inquisition icon (when right clicked) states that inquistors' priest levels count as double when preaching in enemy territory.
I'm trying to find out which is true. There is some more iffy information regarding priests than this, but I can't post them right now because my internet is out at home, and I'm trying to post this very quickly while at a friend's house. Hopefully I can get back to this thread soon.

Re: Some Information on Priests is Incorrect.
I suspect that the text is unchanged from Dom2 when priests used to get 20%/level chance of success, so inquisitors truly had a doubled chance at 40%. The inquisitor chance did not change as far as I know, but the priest chance went up by 10%. As far as I know the manual is correct.

He wrote the manual. I believe he's right. Even if the example on page 94 ends in a strange sentence I don't think is related to the provided example.

Re: Some Information on Priests is Incorrect.
Level 1 priest preaching in -4. The chance is 10%. In non-enemy dominion, chance would be 30%. With a temple, the chance would be 40% and 60%. It actually works just right.
Sorry about that.

Re: Some Information on Priests is Incorrect.
*priest preaching in friendly territory basechance 30% + bonus for priest level
*inquisitor preaching in friendly territory basechance 40% + bonus for priest level
*priest preaching in enemy territory basechance 30% + bonus for priest level
*inquisitor preaching in enemy territory basechance 40% + double the bonus for priest level
thats my take on it
