The (almost) unkillable angel
OK, i was retesting the national angel summons and was trying out a solo angel of fury(see his equipment in attachments). After conquering half of the silent seas map without being hurt once i decided to give him a slightly bigger challenge:
First he hit into 80 marignon pd and slaughtered it without getting hurt, then he did the exact same with 125 marignon pd(both of these while cursed). After that i just wanted him dead so 2 paladins, 125pd and 100 halberdiers fought him and still lost without him getting scratched. Finally i got very bored so i summoned a load of fire snakes and summer lions and 5 great eagles, got 135 greatswordsmen all led by a harbinger and set him to patrol in a 125pd province. The angel lost and you can hopefully see the results(and angels equipment+the army that killed him) in the attachment.

Re: The (almost) unkillable angel
Didn't look at the attachments. I dont like msword files when text would work just as well, since they can in theory be virusfilled.
It's not unusual for a well equipped supercombatant with some regen and invigoration to survive any number of heavy infantry, and the angel also has blood vengeance +2 which is very neat against low mr units.

Re: The (almost) unkillable angel
The mr he's talking about is Magic Resistance, and 11 (even for morale) is merely average.

Yeah I also disregarded your attachments. Word files are an extremely great way to transfer viruses and I will not take the chance on opening it. If you want to post attachments, use something like a screenshot converted to a jpg.

Re: The (almost) unkillable angel
The real test for your angel would have been that group of heavy infantry (150; the type won't matter since they can't hurt the Angel) backed up by few High Inquisitors, one of them a prophet. Fanaticism, Smites and Words of Power help a little. Add 150 Crossbowmen. Add two Grand Masters, with randoms in Astral and Fire. One casts Light of the Northern Star, then Antimagic, the other casts Flaming Arrows, then Fire Fend. Then add 16 Witch Hunters, half casting Phoenix Power and spamming Fire spells, the other half spamming Paralyze (which they can cast thanks to Light of the Northern Star). If the Angel is immune to fire (as he should be when going against Marignon), the Witch Hunters would spam Blindness instead.
You had Conjuration 7, Construction 4 or 6 for the Angel. The above combination would require Enchantment 4 for Flaming Arrows/Antimagic, Enchantment 5 for Fire Fend, Thaumaturgy 4 for Paralyze, Conjuration 4 for Light of the Northern Star and either Evocation or Alteration. In a real game, Marignon would probably two of the four schools at the levels needed for this.
