Help needed(FIXED thanks)
I am in process of making my first Dom3 mod. I have made several Dom2 mods without trouble.
Here is my problem, I made the mod and I am having trouble converting it to .DM from text. I am using Open office 2.0 and Vista. When I save from open office as a DM file it crases dominions with an error message saying "mod does not have #modname" But it does. See attached. Any body have advice?
PS I cannot rename file extensions, it just stays a txt file.. So it looks like "mod.dm.txt."

Re: I dont think attachment worked
It needs to be a .dm
The first line looks valid to me.

Re: I dont think attachment worked
I think you need to work out how to get rid of the ".txt" off the end. No idea how to do that on Vista though. It should be straightforward, but Microsoft might be trying to make your life "easy".

Show file extensions, rename? It's incredibly easy on my PC.

Re: I dont think attachment worked
Yeah, I just mean because I haven't seen Vista yet, so it's a matter of finding the "show file extensions" option.
