Starvation bug?

I am getting a starvation message in a province in which I have 60 more supplies than usage. I checked the short list and apologize if I missed this there.

I see the Boar Mage left you this turn. Was he in Elkland (362)?

Starvation is sequence 22, Mercenary hiring and firing is sequence 27. Mercenaries get one last meal on the turn that they leave you, and they may eat all the food you were planning on giving to your troops.

Yes, the Boar mage was in Elkland. That would explain it I guess.

I am getting the same thing in a different MP game. I had about 20 surplus supplies according to the Province data, and they were still starving. Perhaps Ulm....or maybe Ermor....was up to no good!!! Anyway.....a wagon train and Pangaea's most famous chef arrived and concocted a huge bowl of beef broth. Mmmmmmm......Mmmmmmmm. Lip smackin good!!!
