Starting a MP game "Song of Songs" - looking for players

looking for some 4 or 5 players.
turn transfer over skype
as many turns/day as possible, later on maybe 1/2-2 per day.
Possibility to keep longer pauses ( < week or so) but not on regular basis.
Finns RECOMMENDED, everybody accepted.
Nations provided on first-applied-first-served basis
Game starts within 24 hours after we have 4 more enlisted (MUST USE SKYPE)

I don't think it makes any sence to start a game with an old patch release. Players don't have it and why should they start to install it?

I also wonder that you start a thread where to buy the game on april 16th http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=38428 and asked a question about how to update the game to 3.15 on march 18th http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showp...3&postcount=30. Odd order, isn't it?

However it lets assume you just can't update to a newer version because of some copy protection things. I don't think the official forum is the right place for it

Yes, correct. They should not. But I hardly think I am the only one who does not patch his game.

Yes. Congratz! I did start that. Remarkable perception.

However, I bought mine from US far before. I was wondering if they sell games in Finland because I would have gone and got one (or even two) for my friend(s).

Updating, that I had not done. That is why I was asking if I need to go a patch at the time or does 3.15 satisfy all those at once.

Errr is there any other reason not to patch? Is it the bug fixes or the new content you object to? Anyway even if you're legit you're gonna have trouble lining up players in this community who aren't running the latest patch.

Reasons not to patch maybe rare but...

...but one thing is absolute: When I pay for the game I have all the rights NOT to patch it, as I have a right to patch it. This matter does not concern anybody else than I, me and my self. But, again and let it be the last time, I am legit one. I have even contributed to awesome Illwinter by paying for two games (D2 n' D3). The exellent games ARE worth of buying.

I accept the challenge. I realize that 3.15 players are already thin. I am looking just for a few players and will keep marching on even without one. But all those who might be interested playing, you can contact me with private message and I will protect your anonymity, if this kind of public stigma these guys are trying to stamp on me is what you are afraid of. (I just decided not to patch it up, and reasons are my own if there even is any. Maybe this is just rightfull use of my personal freedom to do exactly as I choose.)
