				 About battle replays
In a solo game, I have some strange results for a battle that occured in a province with PD + 1 commander (a Golem SC Prophet).
The messages tell me that I lost the battle (and my prophet).
The replay shows :
- my armies (the PD) being routed at some stage during the battle, and they rout indeed as expected
- the prophet does not rout (morale 50) and easily kills all hundreds of ennemy units as an honest SC does.

Nevertheless, the ennemy now has control of the province & my SC has vanished.

Is it a known bug, or an undocumented feature ? |

mindless units can't retreat, and are eliminated if they should have retreated. It's in the manual somewhere.
mostly the issue just comes up w/ Golem SCs |

				 Re: About battle replays
I think the issue is more that the battle replay didn't match the battle outcome.
This has been reported before. It's a bit annoying.

If anyone happens to have the files from a preceding turn, so that this bug can be reproduced, it might be a good idea to send them to JK. If this happens to anyone in a LlamaServer game PM me and I'll be able to find the files (LlamaServer has full backups).

But that's not the problem. He's got the battle replay doesn't match results bug.
The replay shows his SC killing off the enemy.

Herode, I assume you mean the replay ends with all the enemy gone, either dead or fled, and your golem still on the field?

Edit: And the Llama says the same thing while I'm typing |

And he has plenty of Hit Points and is having some fun blinking from one point of the battlefield to another point and exterminating the poor last TC survivors...

		| mindless units can't retreat, and are eliminated if they should have retreated. It's in the manual somewhere. | Maybe it's linked. BTW my armies (PD) retreated, not the Golem and his Morale 50. I saw another battle where such thing occured : an army retreating and a berseked SC commander staying on the field, killing the ennemies (these ennemies were... me ! ) and conquering the province at least. Maybe the fact that the Golem is mindless interferes with this process in some obscure way/bug ?

What's fun (but OT) is that although mindless, my Golem also is (was...) insane |

If you are looking for your Golem, he's working for me on 3rd shift. Please send picture, or I might send the wrong one back.

				 Re: About battle replays
llamabeast, I've had the same thing happen, very rarely, but it has happened. Once about a week or so ago.
But anyway, how do I save the battle replays to send?

Well the trouble is you have to know it's going to happen. You need all the files from the previous turn - the fthrlnd file, all the trn files (I think) and all the 2h files (definitely). By the time you get the issue, unless you're continually keeping backups then most of those files will have been overwritten. |

 Thanks.
Door #1:
It doesn't happen very often. I can live with it.

Door#2:
Wow, sounds like a lot of effort.

And the winner is:

Door #1
