It's probably been mentioned before and it's more of an annoyance than anything, but if a battle is taking place in dust conditions and you click on the "undo" button, the unit returns back to it's starting location, but the dust generated remains.

In situations where visibility is high and dusk can be stirred up, I will try to approach my attack position moving 3 hexes per turn to avoid making a cloud and use concealed routes. Invariably, I will have a mouse error and one unit will go 4 hexes or I will miss clicking on the next unit I want and the current unit will try to reach the location I clicked. It wouldn't be so bad except dust attracts artillery.

It's a minor issue and I try to be careful to avoid errors, but it seems "undo" should undo everything. I haven't included a save, but can and it's not tied to any specific nationality. It's a very easy condition to recreate.

I think the bug is that the game even has an 'undo' button

Unless my hand/eye coordination improves and i get an optical mouse that doesn't have crud build up on it, it comes in handy

My current PBEM opponent just crashed a vehicle into a building, and I commented that about every other PBEM battle (perhaps less) I have a similar incident.

Either the game's GPS sat nav tried to take the vehicle through a building, or more commonly a case of human error.

Recently, my command tank for a whole squadron immobolised itself by driving into a building.

I figure this is all part of the chaos and fatigue of war...

I've had that happen. The highlighted hexes show where you can move, but not how you will get there. Sometimes, it's through buildings. When close to places you don't want to go, you have to move one hex at a time.

I once had to dislodge my enemy at a roadblock, i wanted to rush a tank into them and the tanks crashed into a building, after that i learn't to buy a dozer to support my troops when in a city.

 Undo cannot undo everything.

The only cure for that one would be to disallow undo if dust was generated (even the fractional amounts that one cannot see, but do build up). This will probably be the route to go, it'll stop you cheating against the AI ( by building smoke screens by undoing movement) but as email games already disallow the undo function it should have little real effect.

Cheers

Understood. Like I said, it's a minor annoyance.

Disabling "undo" in the PBEM games was good. I use to play earlier versions and got cheated with "undo" function before. Some games allow you to undo moves if you don't see anything, but seeing nothing in a move still tells you something; where the enemy isn't.
