UMPC (Eee) & Dominions 3
On Asus Eee 901, XP.
I can get Dominions 3 playing, that is not the problem, but the graphics are squashed if I try to use all of the 1024*600-screen (in fullscreen and windowed). It seems that if I run it in anything but 4:3-ratio (I have been playing with the '--res X Y' -option), my game streches the 800*600-resolution to fill the screen (or perhaps any 4:3 that shares the last number specified). There is no 1024*600-resolution available on the video preferences.
If I tick 800*600 from the preferences, the game leaves enough black on the sides to draw only on the middle 800*600-area and the ratio is fine. But this feels like waste of screen space even tough it's playable.
Help? Or is there any?

Not for something that exotic given that Illwinter is busy with their next project already and not doing as much Dominions related work as they used to.

It's really hypnotic. I don't know how many minutes I have lost looking at it already.

I would only run Dom 3 on a dumb phone, lest it get addicted and stop taking my calls

Try using an utility calle AStray Plus that you will find in the forums of www.eeeuser.com. I installed it in my eee and now i can make it work with nearly any resolution... squished or not.
