Default SP3 Redux?

Are there any plans to redo Steel Panthers 3 along the lines of what the team did for SP1/2?

It would be great to game the WW2 and modern periods at a higher operational level (platoons rather than squads) using an improved SP3 engine.

Thanks,

Christian

Lol,

The OP is from the US, so just in case they or anyone else is not clear, here's the translation:

USA: Pants = Trousers

UK: Pants = Mens Underware (also used as a term of derision)

cheers,
Cross

Hehe, thanks for the translation. I'm a few generations removed from the homeland so while I figured thats what he meant, I wasn't 100% sure.

Or you can just watch enough British Comedies to get the context. I can reccomend a few if you like, but I'v only got five or six that I'm really fimilar with. I do have to say that Brits have better television than us Yanks.

British comedies may be more useful than the translator website (but I did bookmark it for future reference) because the website only tells you that pants are mens underwear.

Though no doubt most will figure it out.

If you get called 'a big girl's blouse' by a Brit, you probably won't need a translation...

Scotish to English would be handy a guy I know is hard to understand especially after a few beers. I assume because the accent becomes worse & more slang though it is possible he could just be pissed & talking nonsense. On that point actually how is it 2 pissed people can understand each other yet a sober person can't despite the fact he should be more capable of figuring it out. The only way I know to join the conversation is to catch up.

Ah! - You have already confused the Left-Pondians -
"pissed" = drunk (Scots, "pished","blootered").
"pissed as a newt" or "pissed as a parrot" = staggering drunk

American "pissed" = angry, or at least severely annoyed. Which is something entirely different! from the original English meaning of the phrase!.

As for the other, there are plenty of Scots->English translations about, e.g. http://www.firstfoot.com/dictionary/a.html

Cheers
Andy
