				 Shady O'Grady's Rising Star
I'm contemplating buy this game, but it's about 3 years old. Will it work on Vista or Windows 7, because I have Vista now, and might be buying a new computer, which will probably have Windows 7. I just want to make sure I can play it before I spend the money on it. Has anyone played this game? |

I played it all thru beta testing and for quite awhile after. Its a small "time killer" when you want a very different game.

But Im afraid I only played it on WinXP. I dont know about the others

I have windows 7 and if I run a older game in Compatibility Mode then it mostly works (ya some game will not be able to run) but most of the games will here's a website that will help ya http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...lity-mode.html
Oh DON'T get Windows 7 Home Premium you WON'T be able to play any older games
get Windows 7 Professional it WILL run the older games

I got the Windows 7 Ultimate because it was only $25 more then Pro so i got it

anyways take a look at each one and see for yourself

Thanks for the info. right now, I have a Vista machine, but my son has it right now. He's living in another city. So I'm thinking of getting another laptop. So whatever is on the machine when I buy it will be whatever I use. |

most stores sell computers with Home Premium on them but if i were you you'll want the Professional of Vista or Windows 7 (try to get win 7)
it may cost a little more buy it will be worth it ask around and see for your self of you are looking for when you use the computer |
