Default Choice of weapons

I have a choice between arming my Moloch pretender with Demon Whip plus Lantern Shield, or with a two-handed Doom Glaive. What is better, considering that he already has good body armor?

whip + shield for sure, if you have gleaming gold shield that would be far superior to lantern, or vine shield if you face undeads / mindless units.

Note demon whip flops vs fire immune or very high armored targets, its good vs mass chaff. Doom glaive shouldn't be used for anything, almost any normal 1 handed weapon with shield is going to be superior to glaive.

Yeah, Lantern Shield also works on normal units, as you use it for the turn 0 summons. Put it on a scout and make that run away .

Brands or the vine whip are better weapons for one handed combat.
