Password Issue
Been playing PBEM games for some time with no issues. Then we decided to try a new very large scenario (#445). The setup and first two turns went OK but then on my third turn (I play second) the game wouldn't accept my password.
Now here's the strange part. We decided to scrap the large scenario game and started a small (500 point) generated battle. Everything went fine until my third turn where once again the game wouldn't accept my PW.
Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

Re: Password Issue
Both of these loaded fine for me.
Did you have caps lock on perhaps, or enter the wrong p/w?

Re: Password Issue
No, I checked everything when I got the reject. Even watched my fingers as I typed.
We're going to try one more time with a small game.
Can you tell what the stored password is in the save files?

Re: Password Issue
Just occurred to me - one reason your password wont work, is if your opponent has sent an incomplete turn to you rather than one ended by "end turn". The game will still expect him to be the player up, and so be expecting his password, and not yours.
The easy way top spot that is if it is asking for the other side's password at the password entry screen. e.g if you are Russia and he is UK, if the password screen asks for the UK player's password then he has probably sent you an incomplete turn. Solution - tell him to open up his save-game at his end and this time complete it by press end turn (red end turn button >, and not the blue ^ save ongoing game button!), then resend the files once he has done so.
(If those passwords I gave you are your opponents ones - that is what's happened.)
cheers
Andy

Re: Password Issue
Good thought, but no. Those are my passwords and the ones the game wouldn't accept.
Very odd. Our third attempt seems to be working so far, turn 4.
