MP-35/I sub machine gun
Been playing as the Germans in 6/44 and decided to use some Waffen SS companies. Now I know that historically they liked to use this SMG as an alternative to the Armies MP38/40 and was happy to see it as an option for their formations.
Now, this is very definitely knitpicking because they have the same stats, but I just wanted to point out that in the SS company formations their Inf-AT sections don't reflect the MP35 SMG like the rest of the squads do, but instead reflect the MP38/40 ... so just thought i'd point that out for the sake of immersion
cheers!
PS Also no reflection of the MG in their Spaehtruppe. Sorry if this annoying to point out just kinda irked me for some reason.

Re: MP-35/I sub machine gun
That's because there are no dedicated "SS" inf-AT or Spaehtrupp units, they are "shared" with the Heer

Re: MP-35/I sub machine gun
Also I'm pretty sure these smgs are only used by the SS infantry, not the mechanised infantry (which would be the inf of "famous" divisions like the 1st and 12th SS). As I understand it, the SS non-mechanised infantry is supposed to be the kind of second line divisions you would find at the end of the war or in anti-partisan operations.

Vz => A Czech design.
the Czech OOB has the ZK383 SMG.
a google search brings up:

An SMG in 9mm short
It would work OK with police units with 9mmx19 pisols, I suppose.

Re: MP-35/I sub machine gun
Interesting. I wonder if there is an official German designation for the ZK-383... I do know that they issued those to some SS units, so there would be a waffenamt designation.
