Local Surrender

I think someone should make a mod that lets players and the AI surrender cirten objects ie. a crippled warship or an undefended planet. Please give me your input (and perhaps a prototype Mod because I can't make one)

you can always 'GIFT' those things to another player or to the AI, but an AI at war might not accept your gift. also, you wont get the AI to give you those things, only accept them if they are offered.

unfortuneatly, this cant really be modded. i think the closest thing you can do is to edit the AIs politics file to make it willing to exchange gifts under the right circumstances (based on comparative points value, or angry-rating)

I have not seen this myself, but I've heard of AIs sticking people with crippled ships in trades.

I've demanded planets and the AI has given them to me, plague and all...

I had them give me a ship once that was destroyed by a black hole in the same turn I took ownership of it. I am sure it was just a fluke though, because of the delay in communications, it likely wasn't damaged until after it gave it to me.
