What's the best AI?

I've been playing solo allot lately and I'm getting bored with the typical AI. I have been playing the TDM modpack (newest Version) to add some challenge but even in that I don't know which race(s) is hardest to play against.

Are there any other mods with well done AI? And in the TDM modpack which races are the hardest to play against? Thanks in advance.

No not really. TDM is the best shot

If you are looking for a challenge, play against the Toron confederation.

The Rage are pretty mean too. Tileus, if you play at high difficuty, you're more likely to get agressive AI's randomly. Are you giving them a medium bonus at least?

TDM AI's that are the best (IMO of course): Xi'Chung, Aquilaeians, Vikings, Rage and Praetorians. Other races out there that are quite good is anything by Atraikius (Orks, Zorians, etc) and UsY's Angelic Regency. There are tonnes out there but these are the ones that stick out in my head.

To make the TDM races harder to play against. Put them on highest difficulty, then put the bonus to High. This will give them somethink like 5X the normal points and minirals and such. It is really a challenge. Specially if you start out a system or two away from one of the races. Look out then.

A different race, and one of the best in my view, is the United Flora. Rollo did a GREAT job with the AI!
