I finally finished a game
Well after two years, I have finally finished a game. 248.1 turns, and the victory is mine.
No mods, just plaing 1.78 with Trek races.

Re: I finally finished a game
I still haven't finished a (non-PBW) game.

Re: I finally finished a game
I have never finished a game of SEIV. I would be interested to know what happens (send me a PM if you feel that the rest of the forum should not know). I finished a MOO2 game a couple of times and always thought the end video sequence was hilarious... as was the video sequence you got if your race was wiped out.. does SEIVG do the same?

Re: I finally finished a game
I finished my games off. Well that is what I call the delete command.
GT, looking through the bitmaps I think all you get is a pretty picture.
The way to find out:
Create a map with two starting points in the same system.
Start a game using that map.
demaand the AI's surrender,
Play the AI's turn and accept the surrender

Re: I finally finished a game
Yeah, all you get is a pretty picture. I've finished several vsAI games, each time due to having the wrong victory conditions set.
I've never conquered an entire quadrant before.

Re: I finally finished a game
Waaaaaaay back during the twingalaxies tourney I suscessfully conquered all the AI in a few games, and then spent another 100 turns building ringwolrds to try and drive up my score.
I finished one the other day testing for the Neutral2 game idea, but it was a loss message instead of a victory message.
