They are using the training facilities

Hi all!

Is it true?

Playing a game against Orcs (TDM). Saw on a planet i conquered a fleet and ship training facility!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn�t play SEIV for a long time - so i�m totally surprised by this!
Has anybode seen other races using this facilities?

Getting them to build them is not difficult at all and never has been. The problem is they have no concept of using them properly, and there is no way to teach them how. So making them build them is a waste of facility space.

If the training facilities are on a resupply planet the AI might get some benefit, because ships/fleets sometimes remain there for several turns.

Yes, the AI can grab a few +% here and there this way. Ship training can be okay this way, but I don't think fleet training is worth it. Because the AI can break up fleet pretty easily.

Do we know for sure that 1% or 4% actually gives a ship that bonus. Or does it grow by levels, novice, experienced, etc with no middle steps.

Maybe we could mod an AI only resupply/training facility.

Other people play close attention to the AI's defence ships. Do they stay around on planet or move about in space.
