Mottlee, not a good position to be in.

And unfortunately you are not alone.

This may be a good time to start putting a couple of sawbucks a month into the "do not touch, I'll chop off your hands if you do, computer fund."

[humor] I tried that once. Now I have to type with my nose.[/humor]

Sorry I had to say that.

If SEV is going to use rendered (not pre-rendered) graphics for ships, I think you may need to upgrade your computer. Or at least your video card.

2005 sounds reasonable, but I agree with Capt. Kwok, I wouldn't mind if it came out sooner

so i thought i would stop in here and stir the pot. first of all, i need to state that what follows is not a promise or a firm comittment, or an official statement. its an idle off-hand remark. so take this with a grain of salt, and if you start to get your hopes up, use more salt.

Thanks for the bug report. We'll add it to our list for the next patch.

We are currently in the design stages for SE5, which we will hopefully
release be Christmas of next year!

Aaron
Now, im not a beta tester, and im not under any kind of NDA, so i dont feel like im letting any secrets out. since this isnt a secret, and its not a promise, and everyone knows its in the works anyway. what "design stages" means to me, is that they are not coding anything yet, but are penciling together some rough drafts and feature ideas. If starfury starts taking alot of time, i can easily see this game slipping by a year or two. If MM keeps the schedule they expect, maybe it will be out for xmas '03.

ya never know.
